Observation No.1: AMV's

Thought of the moment. I've been a fan of AMV's (Anime Music Videos) for sometime now, in fact I used to make them myself; http://www.youtube.com/user/oblivion136

Of course it was on the spur of the moment, I just decided to mess around with Windows Movie Maker and see what would happen. Ultimately the program was such an unbearable mess to work with, constantly crashing and moving at a snail's pace, That I decided to stop making them all together.

(I know, a good craftsman never blames a failure on his tools. It was a fun little exercise that I put to the side after having a go.)

But even to this day, I love watching a good AMV (even the bad ones if they have a good choice of music), I discovered a lot of my favorite songs by swimming around the sea of AMV's on YouTube, and found some real creative talent in some of those videos.

Here's some of my favorites; (Beware of Spoilers!)

Why did I just create this?

Why did I just create this? What am I going to do with it? Where do I begin...

'Mou Hitori no Boku' roughly translates to 'The Other Me' in Japanese. It's the main character's catchphrase in the anime 'Yu-Gi-Oh!', referring to the protagonist's alternate personality. I guess for me it refers to a small piece of myself I decided to throw into an endless sea of individual personalities.

(Anyway, Sorry for being melodramatic.)

At the time of writing this I hope to include a lot of personal reflections on everything from current events, impressions of certain games, books, films and anime, personal thoughts and feelings, and perhaps i'll even throw out some ideas for stories.

So, lets see what happens now...
